Today's Promise from God

Today's Promise from God

When you doubt Jesus actually rose from the dead ...

"Why are your hearts filled with doubt? Look at my hands. You can see that it's really me. Touch me and make sure that I am not a ghost, because ghosts don't have bodies, as you see that I do." As he spoke, he showed them his hands and feet.
Luke 24:38-40

Today's Promise from God

When you need to show you're reliable ...

To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.
Matthew 25:29

When you're afraid of risking your reputation by telling others about Jesus ...

I tell you the truth, everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on earth, the Son of Man will also acknowledge in the presence of God's angels.

Today's Promise from God

When your relationships seem like so much work ...

Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

Moving on up!

Yes, we have moved on up to the East Side, of Rochester, NY that is! I've been MIA yet again, but I swear for good reason. The good Lord has blessed our family yet again. My husband recently took on a management position at a restaurant close on Conesus Lake. This was so wonderful for us as we had planned to move to Rochester, eventually, as our permanent residence. His job is better in every way and we're much happier, although, we were sad to say goodbye to some wonderful friends we met in Glens Falls, NY. Within a week the Lord kept our spirits up and our patience in tact as we only had a week to find an apartment. Sure enough we found a beautiful townhome in a great area. It was smooth sailing from there, thank goodness. We are just now settling in and I'm so happy to report that I will be back in blogging action. I have been thinking about a redesign for the page so look out for some changes (nothing difficult, if anything it will end up easier to navigate!).

I would also like to express my joy for Susan who has just found a new house with her family. It is one they plan to grow in as a family and I'm so very happy for her! Congratulations Sue!

We continue to ask that if you would like to contribute with a blog, donation, or otherwise please comment with your email address and I will write back promptly!

I hope you all are sharing in the gift of prayer and patience and that He is bringing you much happiness as well. I will resume daily prayers tomorrow! God bless!
